OUR STORY
meet the wild and free team
In 2016, my husband and I were both in our final semester of university when we experienced what it’s like to come face to face with a life-altering diagnosis. After being hit by a drunk driver in a car accident, I broke my neck and experienced a spinal cord injury that caused our lives to take a drastic, unexpected turn. Weeks later, I remember being on a ventilator when I learned that I had been accepted into a graduate program for ABA therapy. Faced with what seemed like an insurmountable challenge, I learned to embrace my new disability while still pursuing my goal of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Over the course of the next few years, my husband took me to night classes, practicum sites, and test centers as I completed my graduate studies. Today, he serves as my business partner in our behavioral therapy practice.
